FAQ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q. What do I need to hire a hot tub? A. We recommend that you site your hot tub outside on a flat
8ft square area. Surface area should
be concrete, patio or well supported decking (not grass). Make sure ground surface is free of any sharp particles.
Q. Do we need to supply water and
electric? A. Yes. The
hot tubs run on mains electric and are fitted with RCDs for your safety. We
supply you with 12 meter extension
lead, so the electric mains supply will have to be within 12 meters. We
ask you to supply water and hose. This
can be Hot or Cold supply.
Q. How do you get the hot tub to the
designated area? A. Our
hot tubs completely dismantle, so just a normal size doorway will be more than sufficient.
Q. How long does it take to set up hot
tub? A. Around
1 hour.
Q. Does anybody need to be at home when
you deliver the hot tub? A. Yes
because we need to show you how to use the hot tub, how to add the chemicals
and clean the filters.
Q. When is the hot tub ready to use? A. The
hot tub can be used straight away if a hot fill is used. Please note you will
have to have a combination boiler. If
cold fill is used the tub will reach a very pleasant 36-40o C within
24 hours of being turned on. You
can combine hot and cold fill.
Q. How many people does the hot tub
hold? A. 4-6
Adults.
Q. How much does the hot tub weigh once
filled? A. Around
1800 kg.
Q. How does the hot tub maintain its
temperature? A. To
maintain a constant temperature the hot tub needs to be connected to an
electric supply at all time. The
thermal cover supplied will help retain the heat. The very efficient heat exchanger will regulate the
temperature.
Q. How much does the hot tub cost to
run? A. Our
hot tubs are energy efficient. Typical costs around £1.50 per day. However this
varies by amount of use and
temperature.
Q. Does anybody need to be at home when
the engineer collects the hot tub? A. YES.
Q. Do you require a deposit A. YES. £150 Cash/Cheque/Bacs. This will be returned once
inspection has taken place at the end of the hire period.
Q. Can you hire the hot tub in the
winter months. A. Most definitely.
There is nothing more invigorating than relaxing in a hot tub when it's cold outside.
When the hot tub is at a temperature of 38o C, the only time
you feel the cold is when you dash
from the tub to the warmth of your home.
Q. How does the hot tub function? A. You
can either select the still calming water which allows you to have an easy
conversation whilst relaxing or
the jets can be turned on for a invigorating
experience with bubbles bursting
all around you.
Q. How do we check if the water is
clean? A. We
will leave all the relevant chemicals including dipping strips to check the PH
level to ensure that the water is suitable
for use.
Q. Will sun cream/fake tan effect the
running of the hot tub? A. Sun
cream/fake tan will affect the filter, therefore heat loss can occur. Regular
washing of the filter will
resolve this problem.
Q. How is the hot tub emptied?
A. A
submersible pump is used to drain the hot tub, a grassed area or drain is
required.
Q. Do you supply any additional accessories?
A. Yes. For an additional cost we supply steps & booster seats that can be used for children or adults upon request.
