Maintenance HOT TUB CARE AND MAINTENANCE
DAY 1 Our engineer will assemble and start the filling of the Hot Tub
(around 1 hour set up time) with either hot or cold water and that the initial
water treatments are added. If using COLD fill the Hot Tub will take around
24hours to heat up (up to 40o C). HOT fill the tub can be used
straight away. The engineer will also run through safe operation of the unit.
Bromine float (chemical tablet) will be added.
EACH DAY It is of great importance to make sure that the water remains free of
debris and dirt (Please use the net provided). Please ensure that feet are
wiped cleaned before entering the Hot Tub. As dirt and debris can affect the
filtration and temperature of the Tub. Replace Hard Cover when Tub not in use
to retain its heat. You should not spend
no more than 15-20 minutes at any one time with the temperature in excess of
37.o C.
DAY
2 This would be a good idea to check the PH
Levels in the Hot Tub (use sticks provided), on a short hire this is not necessary to carry out. This can be carried out as and
when required, during the hire period.
DAY 4 On every fourth day of the hire period you
will have to check the Bromine Float, to ensure that the two tablets have not
dissolved. Replace tablets once they have dissolved (as supplied). PLEASE make
sure that you remove the float whilst the Hot Tub is in use, remember to place
back in the Tub afterwards.
FILTER The engineer will show you how to remove
the filter (diagram enclosed in folder). It can be cleaned as often as needed
under a tap or hose this will remove dirt and ensure a free flow of water
through the Hot Tub heater and filtration system. PLEASE NOTE - A DIRTY FILTER
CAN REDUCE WATER FLOW AND HEAT LOSS. In the summer months extra care needs to
be taken for when using fake tan and sun creams, as this will also affect the
heating and filtration system. OUR RECOMMENDATION IS TO CLEAN THE FILTER EVERY
3RD DAY.
* PLEASE
NOTE:- Please keep chemical bag supplied out of reach of children and kept in a
dry place.
DAY OF COLLECTION The HIRER must be at the property
on the day of collection (around 30 minutes to empty and dismantle) please
ensure that the Hot Tub is still plugged into the power and running as normal
for our engineer to inspect it upon collection. The engineer must be able to
test the temperature of the water and the functionality of the Tub. If the Tub
has been unplugged or if the water has been emptied we reserve the right to
retain your deposit until the Hot Tub has been fully tested and proven to be
problem free. Wight Hot Tub Hire will drain and dismantle the Tub after
inspection has taken place.
